old buttons

I have a great old mason jar from my grandmother full of old buttons. My daughter and I had a fun time photographing them on my dining room table...the photos turned out so well that I had to try a painting of them. What fun painting old buttons! Somedays I wish for simpler times when moms had enough time to save old buttons and reuse them...

    This is a good one Kim! They are a great subject and painted well! My daughter makes jewellery and has a collection called "Granny's Button Box" all made from buttons from her late Granny's button box.
